Youth Mental Health Aware

MHFA England Training

Become youth mental health aware and learn new skills to support young people. Taking this course raises your awareness about young peoples mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing. You will leave with an understanding of the common mental health conditions and the symptoms that may present in young people. There are still many myths and misunderstandings surrounding mental health and this course works to highlight the facts and helps break stigma.

 

Who should take this course?

This MHFA England training is recommended for anyone who lives with, works with or supports young people aged 8 - 18 years. If you work in a school or youth organisation it is particularly useful for all staff and to sit alongside youth mental health first aider training.
