Wellbeing Awareness Workshop (2.5 Hours)

This workshop is a gentle introduction to wellbeing and resilience. We focus on raising mental health awareness and increasing confidence to talk about mental health and wellbeing. We will look at the most common mental health conditions and explore the signs of poor mental health developing. We will look at how we can cultivate our own mental health and support others to do the same.

The workshop is lead by experienced Transpire Training mental health and wellbeing trainers. The session is inclusive, interactive and delivered in a friendly and encouraging manner whilst being incredibly thought provoking.

Delivery Format:
Virtual course hosted on Zoom. Learning takes place through a medley of slides, group discussions, video, small break out groups and stats presented through an interactive quiz.

Spotlight on depression and anxiety

Recognising depression and anxiety

Cultivating good mental health

Stress and stress management

Starting a conversation about mental health

Mental health resources and signposting

End of session; Question time with a trained Mental Health First Aider

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes (including a short break)

Raised awareness of mental health

Understand and recognise symptoms of anxiety and depression

Understanding of how to pro-actively cultivate good mental health

Increased confidence to start a conversation about mental health

Signposting others and self help

We provide all participants with follow up resources and invite everyone to get in touch with us at any time to speak further on the topics raised for any specific questions or support.
