MHFA Refresher Course
This four hour MHFA refresher course is for Mental Health First Aiders and Mental Health Champions to refresh and practice their skills and re-visit the topics explored their original course.
Just like physical first aid skills it is important to keep up to date to be effective in your role.
The MHFA refresher course is also a great opportunity to share your experiences so far and soundboard with other Mental Health First Aiders and Mental Health Champions.
The course is lead by one of our experienced MHFA accredited instructors and now also includes three years access to the MHFAider® support App and benefits.
Course Structure (4 hours training)
Re-visit the stress container, frame of reference and the mental health continuum.

Mental health facts and myths
Suicide warning signs
First Aid for suicidal crisis
First Aid for a severe psychotic episode
Wellness and Recovery
As with the one and two day courses, learning on the MHFA refresher course takes place through a medley of presentations, group activities, discussions and videos.
Four hours instruction by an experienced, accredited instructor
Course pack of workbook and combined manual
Updated certificate valid for three years
Three years access to MHFAider® support App and benefits
